I am happy to share the 2023 Greenpeace Canada Education Fund Impact Report<\/a>. It was my pleasure to join our incredible supporters in helping the charity come into its own last year. Together, we produced and shared environmental research that raised awareness of the issues and solutions at hand.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n Our investigative research projects explored the influence of fossil fuel companies in Canada and showcased the role banks play in driving climate change<\/a>, highlighting the fossil fuel industry\u2019s greenwashing and the undue influence of the oil and gas lobby. <\/p>\n\n The environmental education gaps assessment we commissioned improved our understanding of student and teacher needs and how GCEF could help to address gaps in the future. <\/p>\n\n We also funded the first Canadian Law Firm Climate Impact Report<\/a>, which grabbed the attention of law firms, clients, and students, demonstrating to them the ways in which the legal industry is contributing to the climate crisis and the opportunities for positive change. <\/p>\n\n We have a lot of work to do, and I\u2019m so grateful to everyone who has been part of what we\u2019ve accomplished thus far: our researchers, implementation partners, board members and our generous donors.
